Malkin did not appear on the scorecard in the Pittsburgh Penguins' Game 5 win against the Philadelphia Flyers, but he found a way to make the highlight reels.
The first play occurred late in the first period. The puck was roughly 20 feet into Philadelphia's zone against the boards to Ilya Bryzgalov's left. Matt Read of the Flyers was facing the boards while working for the puck, with Crosby to his left.
Crosby was able to get control of the puck, then stepped away from the boards to play the puck towards the blue line. Malkin, who was skating hard towards the area, collided with Crosby.
Malkin connected with his left shoulder into Crosby's chest, sending him down to the ice.
