Thursday morning, a number of media outlets reported that the Pittsburgh Penguins surprised veteran forward Bill Guerin by informing the 38-year-old that he would not be invited back for 2010-11.
After making $2 million last year, Guerin posted nine points in 11 playoff games, following a 45 point regular season which included 21 goals.
