just over half the season done, Pittsburgh Penguins rank second in the Eastern Conference. The surging offense of theirs warrants an update to the early-season statistics predictions for Sidney Crosby and company.

Some players haven’t quite lived up to expectations while others have enjoyed offensive explosions. Yet others, like reigning scoring champion Evgeni Malkin, have struggled with injuries.
