The Pittsburgh Penguins got some surprising and potentially important news this week: Backup goaltender Tomas Vokoun has been cleared to resume his playing career. Vokoun’s agent, Allan Walsh, announced the news via Twitter: For most teams, the return of a backup goalie wouldn’t be big news. The 2014 Winter Olympics are in the rear-view mirror now, and the time has come to shift our focus back to the NHL. Since Feb. 7, the Pittsburgh Penguins haven't played a hockey game.
